March of Dimes
Recently, Check Center started a dollar for dollar fundraiser to help the March of Dimes prevent premature births. Just in a little over one month Check Center was able to raise $12,402. The money raised directly benefits the March of Dimes Annual Walk-America event for both Northern and Southern California.

East Bay Center for the Performing Arts
East Bay Center for the Performing Arts is a well known organization located in the City of Richmond, providing children of all ages the discipline of the performing arts and the tools to become future leaders. After 35 years of services the Art Center has recently gone through severe budget cuts forcing them to end many classes. Check Center lends a hand with a $7,000 donation.

Child Safety Awareness Program
Check Center launched the Child Safety Awareness Program in 2002. This annual activity offers our community members free children ID kits, which include a Parent Safety Tip brochure and a laminated photo ID card. Through this program, Check Center aims to help address the growing concern of children abduction in our communities.
Breast-Feeding Awareness Across America
Check Center is proud to be a sponsor of the Women Infant Children Program (WIC) for two consecutive years (2002 and 2003). Check Center joins The Women Infant Children Program to encourage breast-feeding for healthier babies.
Boys and Girls Club
Check Center comes through in a big way with a $10,000 donation to the Rohnert Park's Boys and Girls Club, currently working their way out of a financial crisis due to City budget cuts.
Wendy Silva, and Khalid Ali, Check Center employees, hands over the check to Anne Henderson, Activities Director of the club (center) and Boys and Girls members.
Children's Hospital
Check Center participated as a volunteer support to a local radio station radio-thon, benefiting the City of Oakland Children's Hospital. Check Center employees helped answer phones during the fund-raiser and took donations at each of Check Center location. The radio-thon brought awareness to the communities about the services Children's Hospital offers, and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Meals-On-Wheels
Check Center donated $5,000 to the Meals-on-Wheels 16th Annual Five Star Night Dinner. This donation enabled Meals-on-Wheels to distribute 1,800 nutritious meals to seniors throughout Alameda County.
Back-to-School Program
Check Center believes the children are our future. Twice a year we drop off school supplies to various local schools, which are severely affected by state budget cuts.
Other Check Center community involvement includes the following: Adopt-A-Family, Local Libraries, Retirement Homes, Animal Shelters, Toys-For-Tots, Children Sport Teams, SAVE Program, Salvation Army, Cancer Society, Adopt-A-Highway, Make a Wish Foundation, Community Holiday Donations, Blood Drive, Food Drive, and others.
